SEPTEMBER 23, 2005 - Visual tracking of power/communication lines - Mission Critical UAV and a (omitted to protect commercial in confidence) partner have been working for the past years on Project Wired Eyes™.
What we are able to do, is, track power and communication lines for inspection in an image sequence analysis for interpretation in 3D with GIS and GPS data in absolute coordinates. A great set of tools for asset management of the line and pole. The background of the area is omitted which produces an image of just the line(s) in 3D.
