European UAV Systems Centre Unit #3Located within the European UAV Systems Centre Unit #3, (EuroUSC), we have all aspects of UAV development and operation where collective resources can be exploited effectively. EuroUSC is focused on fostering an environment that will enable participating organization and companies to take full advantage of the immense predicted growth in the UAV market.

Impression of ParcAberporth and West Wales AirportParcAberporth UAV Centre of Excellence is a partner in major UAV development programmes such as the U.K.’s National Autonomous Systems Programmes, ASTRAEA (Autonomous Systems Technology Validation Programme). ParcAberporth provides an integrated approach to UAV business needs. In 2004, UAVs flew within the perimeter of West Wales Airport. In September 2005, a UAV operated (Hermes 450) out of this Civil Airport into the airspace over Cardigan Bay. This is a significant milestone and marks the first practical steps to the routine operation of UAV systems.
